Role Overview
As the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead all aspects of revenue generation at Care to Translate, working across sales, marketing, business development, and financial planning. Your primary responsibility is to drive business growth by identifying and executing on new business opportunities and optimizing existing revenue streams. You will work closely with the CEO, product teams, and commercial team to align strategy, ensure customer success, and expand our reach globally, particularly in healthcare, pharma, and language service sectors.
Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with the company’s global growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across healthcare organizations, pharma companies, and language service providers.
- Establish sustainable and scalable revenue streams through strategic partnerships, new market entries, and innovative sales approaches.
Sales Leadership & Financial Oversight
- Lead the sales and business development teams to achieve revenue goals, manage key accounts, and close high-value deals.
- Oversee the financial aspects of sales, ensuring that revenue targets are met, forecasts are accurate, and pricing models are optimized.
- Analyze and interpret sales and financial data to drive informed decisions and recommend actions for sustainable growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Team Development
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure a cohesive approach to market positioning and customer acquisition.
- Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to align product innovations with commercial opportunities.
- Train and support sales teams on best practices, customer engagement, and strategic account management.
Customer Success & Retention
- Drive customer satisfaction and retention by establishing strong relationships with key clients and ensuring their long-term success.
- Oversee customer feedback loops, ensuring product improvements and services meet evolving client needs.
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and financial reports to provide insights to the leadership team.
- Ensure alignment between revenue goals and overall financial health, working with the management team to set accurate projections and KPIs.
Innovation & Market Expansion
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends in healthcare and digital language solutions, continuously exploring new markets and innovative growth strategies.
- Lead the exploration of real-time AI translation integrations and other cutting-edge solutions that differentiate Care to Translate in the market.
Qualifications: We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our team who brings a strategic mindset and proven expertise in driving growth. Ideal candidates will find opportunities to leverage their skills and experience in this role.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role focusing on sales, business development, or revenue generation, ideally in healthcare, tech, language or SaaS sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial management, sales operations, and revenue optimization.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working closely with product and marketing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions to influence business strategy.
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and proficiency in analyzing sales data and financial reports.
- Experience in or knowledge of the healthcare, public procurement, or pharmaceutical industries is a valuable asset.
- Startup or scale-up experience brings an advantage in navigating high-growth environments.
